The user benefits from this solution because one interface gives access to multiple enterprise sources. The system helps the user with formulation of the question and prevents the user to enter questions that have zero results.
The search and exploration facility is based on AutoFocus Server, that connects to a number of enterprise sources.

Aduna provides Semantic Web and information visualization expertise and software to DOPE - the Drug Ontology Project for Elsevier Science - in the form of Sesame and the Aduna Cluster Map library.
The project opened a new way to explore life sciences information. It improves the interaction experts have by disambiguation of their questions and by showing the search results in a map for further inspection.
