Java Software Engineer (senior)
To expand our development team we are looking for talented individuals interested in helping us develop the building blocks of "Web 3.0" and beyond. You like generating new ideas as well as implementing them all the way from scratch to market-ready product if needed. You are self-motivated and easy-going. You have the ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly. You have excellent communication skills. You are a team-player who also works well alone.
Your work will include both internal product development and projects for our customers and partners. The Open Source nature of the company makes active participation in the Open Source community a must.
Requirements
- a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a similar field
- thorough knowledge of object oriented principles and practice
- thorough knowledge of Java software development (Java Standard Edition, servlets and JSP in particular)
Knowledge of/experience with one or more of the following products/technologies is also required:
- RDF
- XML
- Spring, Spring Web MVC
- OSGi
- Open Source projects
- relational databases
We usually speak Dutch around the office, but most external communication is in English, so we expect you to have a good level of proficiency in that language (both oral and written). Dutch is not required, but would be considered a bonus.
