If, for some reason, you are unable or unwilling to comply with the terms of the OSL, we can make our software available to you under the terms of the Aduna Commercial License (ACL) upon request.

What does it mean?

By purchasing an Aduna Commercial License for one of our products or technologies, you obtain the following rights:

• the right to copy, modify and distribute the specified Aduna Software (embedded in, or alongside your own products), according to the terms of the Aduna Commercial License proper. Among other things, the ACL allows you to distribute Aduna Software under your own licensing terms, provided you indemnify Aduna from your customers.
• the right to support from Aduna according to the terms of the OEM Support Agreement. This support will only be available to you, not your end-users.

Products

The following Aduna Software products and technologies are available under the ACL:

• Aduna AutoFocus
• Aduna AutoFocus Server
• Aduna Cluster Map Library
• OpenRDF Sesame

Note that at this point we do not provide Aperture technology under the ACL. We are able to offer products that contain Aperture technology under the ACL, but Aperture technology itself remains covered only by its orginal license (AFL/OSL).

Costs

The recurring annual fee for the ACL (with included OEM Support) is based on the total projected number of users of the software. The projected number of users is updated each year and determines the pricing class for that year.
